Atlassian’s cloud migration trial allows customers to explore the benefits of transitioning to the cloud. Customer feedback revealed that the previous landing page caused confusion around eligibility due to multiple trials and lacked clear guidance throughout the process.

How might we clarify trial eligibility and guide customers through the process?
Key Design Decisions
Clarifying eligibility
To address the confusion, I created a comparison of the different trials. This approach allowed users to quickly view the eligibility requirements and benefits of each trial, helping them easily determine the right option for their needs.
Step-by-step guidance
The challenge was finding the right balance of information. Since a full redesign of the guide wasn’t feasible, I focused on creating clear access points to seamlessly link the landing page to the guide, ensuring users could easily navigate between them.
In-product screenshots
Another method I used to provide guidance was incorporating in-product screenshots, allowing customers to follow along to where each step takes place.
