Overview
I led the redesign of the Atlassian Cloud Migration Trial page. Customer feedback showed the original page left users unsure about eligibility and next steps. I shipped a refreshed experience that clarified the trial’s value, guided users through the process, and resulted in a 25% increase in trial completion.

Customer pain point
The original page lacked clarity around eligibility, leaving customers unsupported.
The previous version didn’t address key customer concerns. It lacked clarity around eligibility and offered minimal guidance on how to get started, making it difficult for users to understand the value of the trial or how to complete it.

Crafting the experience
Highlighting the value of a cloud migration trial early to motivate customers.
Many users landed on the page unsure if the trial was worth pursuing. The original page didn’t address this upfront. I proposed adding a benefits section at the top to immediately communicate why the trial mattered.
New page: value section
Clarifying complex eligibility criteria to help customers choose the right trial.
Once they understood the value, users needed help identifying which trial applied to them. I designed a straightforward comparison table organized by use case and features.
New page: comparison table
Making the trial process feel manageable through step-by-step guidance.
Users struggled to understand the trial process and where to find answers. I introduced a tabbed, step-by-step layout with visuals and links to detailed guidance, creating a more supportive experience.

FInal design
A trial page that guides users end-to-end and boosted completion rates.
After several iterations and stakeholder reviews, I collaborated with content designers to refine messaging and launched a page that clearly communicates the trial’s value, clarifies next steps, and guides users through the process.
